Teaser Tuesday: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title and author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their To Be Read (TBR) Lists if they like your teasers!

Here's mine:
"Now we come to the real reason I want to hire you.  I want you to find out who in the family murdered Harriet, and who since then has spent almost forty years trying to drive me insane."
--The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, by Stieg Larsson.

  1. Sounds like a novel with some scope! Are they doing it deliberately, or is the guy in question just driving himself crazy over the murder?

  6. I saw a trailer for the movie to this book, and it looks interesting, but I don't think it would be something I would read. I hope that you enjoy your book. Here's my Teaser for Tuesday.

  7. I was hugely skeptical and really had no intention of reading this series, but several friends keep telling me I need to read it, so I've finally started. It's taken me a chapter or two to "get into it" but suddenly the story has grabbed me by the back of the neck and I have a difficult time putting it down!
