Teaser Tuesday - World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, by Max Brooks

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title and author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their To Be Read (TBR) Lists if they like your teasers!

----------

I've just started World War Z this weekend.  I've been wanting to read it for awhile, then kind of forgot about it, then my interest was renewed when the movie came out earlier this year, then I forgot about it again until this weekend when I found it on sale!  So far it seems to be pretty good, though I've just barely started.

The Tease:

"The driver's eyes had a different look, the same one as me, the look that maybe money wasn't going to be much good for much longer.  I slipped the man an extra fifty and wished him luck.  That was all I could do."

What's your Tease?

  1. Awesome teaser! I friend was just recommending me this book recently and it sounds pretty good! From what I gathered the book is different than the movie, but both are great! Hope you're enjoying!
