Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title and author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their To Be Read (TBR) Lists if they like your teasers!

The Tease:
"There were tears in Aviendha's eyes.  There was no shame at crying over this tragedy.  She had feared the truth, and she could no longer deny it." - Towers of Midnight, by Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson

OK, so I'm STILL reading the same book for over a month now, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it, and I'm almost to the end.  Each one of the Wheel of Time novels have been so good that I really never want them to end anyway!

So....What's your Tease?

  1. Thanks for sharing your tease and for stopping by Bookworm Lisa today

  2. Nice teaser! Just stopping by to read your post and to say thanks for visiting my blog!

  3. Interesting teaser...I hope that you are enjoying your book. Check out My Teaser for Tuesday.

  4. *chuckles* I like that...and giving you props because I have never had the courage or patience to pick up one of his books. =)

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

  5. I haven't ever been able to get myself into Robert Jordan...fantasy isn't exactly my thing, so I lose patience with it quickly. But I love that we picked opposite, gigantic books!

  6. The Wheel of Time series kind of scares me...they're so long! and there are so many of them! But I'm glad you're enjoying it. Thanks for sharing

  7. I didn't know this series =)So thanks !! We can take a look at my teaser on my blog : onceuponaquote;blogspot.com
    Happy reading !!
    By the way, I'm a new follower =) !!!

  8. Great teaser! Thanks for visiting my blog!

  9. Sounds like it takes you as long to read a book as it does me.

  10. @Arlee Bird Hi Lee! Yes, this one is taking me longer than it would normally. Usually if I had three + hours to read in the evening I could get through this in a week or so, but I just haven't had that much time lately!
Thanks for stopping by SunnyReads!! (And congrats on your NaNoWriMo Win!!)
