So I'm currently reading Beautiful Creatures
by Kami Garcia. I saw the movie earlier this year and quite enjoyed it,
and didn't even realize it was based on a novel until after watching
the film. Since I found out, I've been wanting to read at least the first book in the series to see if it was any good, and so far I'm quite enjoying it. In this scene, Ethan, the main POV character, finds himself in a very uncomfortable situation at a dinner party with unwanted guests...
