Since I finished Theft of Swords I've been itching to continue on with the story of Royce and Hadrian, so this week I started Rise of Empire. Princess Arista has managed to convince the rogues to accompany her across a dangerous stretch of the country so that she might meet the leader of the Nationalist Movement and gain their aid in fighting against the empire that threatens to overwhelm her kingdom.
The Tease:
"Arista woke feeling disoriented and confused. She had been dreaming about riding in her carriage. She sat across from both Sauly and Esrahaddon.
